EUGENE, Ore.–The public is invited to join ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ and the Maxwell Student Veteran Center in honoring our veterans on Thursday, November 12, at 11 a.m. with a brief virtual ceremony and reception via Zoom.
The ceremony will be emceed by LCC Vice President Marty Hanifin, veteran, U.S Army. Speakers will be LCC President Margaret Hamilton, LCC dental hygiene student and Oregon Army National Guard veteran Yuri Vincent; and Oregon Representative Marty Wilde, veteran, Oregon Army National Guard, and current Air National Guard colonel. The event will close with a video of the national anthem performed by LCC students at a flag lowering on main campus. Those interested may stay signed in for a virtual reception to connect with fellow members of the ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ veteran community.
