Bulger's Leadership:
Dr. Stephanie Bulger became ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½â€™s eighth president on July 1, 2022. With a Ph.D. in Higher Education from the University of Michigan and a background in English and literature, she brings deep experience and a commitment to student success.
Before joining ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½, Dr. Bulger served in leadership roles in community college systems in California and Michigan. Her work has centered on expanding opportunity, supporting innovation, and using technology to strengthen teaching, learning, and workforce development.
At ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½, she is focused on increasing equitable access and building strong pathways for students and local employers. Under her leadership, the college has reversed a decade of enrollment decline and is advancing its role as a regional hub for talent and economic vitality. She also serves on the boards of Oregon State University, the Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce, and on AACC’s Commission on Economic and Workforce Development.
Outside her professional role, Dr. Bulger enjoys outdoor adventure, yoga, the arts, family history, and reading presidential biographies—drawing inspiration from the natural beauty of the southern Willamette Valley.

ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ has a tradition of offering stellar educational opportunities that will allow you to discover, grow, and achieve in your areas of interest. The college offers short-term career pathways, more than 40 associate degrees and certificates for transfer to a university or going directly into the workforce, and courses for personal enrichment. For nearly 60 years, ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ students have become graduates who realized their educational and career aspirations.
Students need flexibility as they pursue higher education and training. At ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½, classes are offered in person, online, and in a mix of online and in person formats to allow you to choose the best learning environment for you. Courses are offered throughout ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ County at the main campus and in downtown Eugene, Florence, Cottage Grove, and at the ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ Aviation Academy (Eugene Airport). Students have access to the support they need to be successful through in person and virtual support options, and new Community Advocacy and Resource Education (CARE) services that help students connect with community resources.
