EUGENE, Ore.— The ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ Board of Education declared the At Large Position 7 seat vacant on July 28, 2018, and has set August 31, 2018, as the deadline to apply for appointment. Applicants must be registered Oregon voters and must reside in the district. Tony McCown resigned from the post effective July 22, 2018.
Term of service will last from appointment through June 30, 2019. The seat will be up for election in May 2019 for the four-year term beginning July 1, 2019, and ending June 30, 2023.
