LCC Alumni Day of Service to Support Those Experiencing Food Insecurity

EUGENE, Ore. — ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ alumni are invited to participate in the college’s first Alumni Day of Service on Monday, Dec. 1. The volunteer event is hosted by the in coordination with the Titan Food Pantry and Food for ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ County.

Participants will prepare bags filled with food and care supplies for LCC students before they leave campus for the winter break. Each bag will contain pantry staples and a short note of encouragement written by an alum. Pizza will be provided, and attendees may arrive at any time during the event window.

The event is open to all LCC alumni. Individuals who have taken a credit or noncredit class, completed a certificate, or earned a degree at ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ are considered part of the LCC alumni community. Current students who have previously attended LCC and employees who are also alumni may participate.
