These camps offer unique opportunities for students to explore new skills and potential career paths in a fun and engaging environment. Participants will be selected through a lottery system, ensuring an exciting chance for all interested students to actively engage in their futures – all at no cost. Diesel Camp

Dive into the world of diesel mechanics with ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½â€™s annual Diesel Camp. High school students will get a behind-the-scenes look at what makes diesel-powered freight trucks and hydraulic excavators operate. Highlights include:

• Hands-On Experience: Operate highway trucks and heavy equipment.
• Engine Disassembly: Learn by taking apart a diesel engine.
• Field Trips: Visit local diesel repair shops for real-world insights.
• Dates: July 8-11, 2024

Junior Chef Academy

Discover the art of cooking with the Junior Chef Academy. This camp offers high school students the chance to develop culinary skills through hands-on lessons in cooking and baking. Key features include:

• Culinary Techniques: Learn informal techniques and proper kitchen etiquette.
• Safety and Time Management: Gain essential skills to manage time and ensure safety in the kitchen.
• Confidence Building: Develop the confidence to succeed in culinary endeavors.

Transportation to and from the camps is the responsibility of the participants, but free parking is available on campus, and ÌÇÐÄVlog¹Ù·½ Transit District (LTD) buses serve the LCC main campus.
